Compression Socks for Men: How to Find Your Size

There's no separate men's version of our compression socks. Every style is one unisex sock, so getting a pair that fits well comes down to reading the right chart. Here's how it works for men.

Styles sized by shoe size

Most of our designs are sized by shoe size. Open the knee and compression sock sizing guide, find your US men's shoe size in the men's column, and read across to your size. That's it.

Styles sized by ankle and calf

The Argyle, Solids and Checkers are sized by measurement instead. Wrap a soft tape around your ankle and then your calf, each at its widest point, and match both numbers on the Made in the USA sizing guide. A couple of designs come in combined sizes (S/M, L/XL, 2XL); check the chart on their product page.

If you land on the line between two sizes, the bigger one is the easier pull-on and the smaller one gives a firmer squeeze. A good fit feels snug from ankle to just under the knee, with the top band sitting flat instead of digging in.
