"I am so enthralled with my Old Bones Insoles! I am 66 years old - very, very active - retired Bodybuilder and Powerlifer - still lift 5 days a week, yoga, hike (Camino x 2), trail obstacle ride my horse... I had been struggling with foot pain - no more! Thank you!"

"I am a machinist and I am on my feet all day, I also coach baseball and football, so I am on my feet a lot. I use these insoles in my boots as well as my other shoes. They are crazy comfortable, and my feet and legs don’t hurt and don’t get tired the way they used to."

"I put the shock absorbers into my Bauer skates. At 53 I have plantar fasciitis and significant damage in my feet. I skate 4 days a week. These are a miracle. My feet have never felt better."

Athletic Insoles for Training Days

Athletic insoles earn their keep in the shoes you train in. One gym session can run from a warmup jog to box jumps to sled pushes to a cooldown walk, and the same thin factory liner sits under your foot for all of it. Swap in a real footbed and the trainers you already like get better support without a new pair.

Training Shoes: Shock Absorbing Foot Insoles

The Shock Absorbing Foot Insoles are built for impact. Cushioned PU memory foam takes the edge off jumps and landings, and a molded TPU arch support and heel cup keep your foot from sliding around when you change direction. The top layer is antimicrobial-treated to fight bacteria and odor, which matters in shoes that get sweated through several times a week.

Everyday Sneakers: All Day Foot Insoles

The All Day Foot Insoles belong in the sneakers you wear to work, errands and everything else: an orthopedic-grade contoured arch, EVA foam cushioning and a breathable, moisture-wicking top. Want both? The 2-Pack puts one pair in your gym bag and one in your daily shoes.

Getting the Fit Right

Pull out the factory liner first; these replace it rather than stack on top. Order by shoe size, S through 2XL. Between sizes, go with the larger size and trim along the guidelines on the bottom.

Shopping for one sport in particular? Our sports insoles page breaks it down sport by sport, and orthotic insoles has every insole and multi-pack in one place. For your legs, pair them with our athletic compression socks.

FAQs

What are athletic insoles?

They're replacement footbeds for athletic shoes. They take the place of the thin factory liner and add arch support, a heel cup and cushioning. Ours come in two styles: Shock Absorbing for impact-heavy training, and All Day for standing and walking.

Are athletic insoles good for the gym and CrossFit?

They can be a good upgrade for training shoes. The All Day Foot Insoles and the 2-Pack both list CrossFit among their uses. If your workouts lean on jumping and running, the Shock Absorbing pair adds PU memory foam cushioning under a molded TPU arch and heel cup.

Do insoles help with smelly training shoes?

They can help. The Shock Absorbing Foot Insoles have an antimicrobial-treated top layer that fights bacteria and odor, and the All Day Foot Insoles have a breathable, moisture-wicking top. Letting shoes dry out between sessions helps too.

Should I use the same insoles in my training shoes and everyday shoes?

You can move one pair between shoes, but the two jobs are different. Impact-heavy training suits the Shock Absorbing pair, while long days of walking and standing suit the All Day pair. The 2-Pack gives you one of each so nothing has to be swapped.
