"I had a plate and 6 screw put into my ankle last year and was in so much pain breaking in my new roller skates this year, I was using an extra insole for cushion before caving for a proper sleeve and WHAT A GAME CHANGER!!! The gel padding relieves all my pain and I no longer have swelling after a good skate sesh!"

"My ankle and heel haven't been 100% since a bad sprain more than a year ago. Combined with my high top Vans I now have all the support I need, and best of all, no aching or fatigue after the session! I've been skating 5-7 days a week and feeling good!"

Foot Compression Sleeves: Pick by What You Want Covered

“Foot compression sleeve” gets used for a few different things. Some wrap the ankle and midfoot. Some leave the foot out and work on the calf and shin. Compression socks cover everything from the toes up. Which one fits depends on where you get tired or sore.

Ankle and midfoot: Compression Ankle Sleeve

The Compression Ankle Sleeve pulls on over the foot and wraps the ankle and midfoot in knitted compression, with the toes left open. Silicone gel padding sits around the joint, and it’s slim enough to fit inside most shoes, from skate shoes to work boots. It squeezes around the arch but doesn’t hold the arch up, so for structure underfoot, pair it with arch support insoles.

Calf and shin: Compression Shin Sleeve

The Compression Shin Sleeve covers the lower leg with neoprene padding over the shin and leaves your foot free for your own socks.

Heel pain first thing in the morning? Our page on compression sleeves for plantar fasciitis covers it. For compression through the whole foot, compression socks do that job.

FAQs

Does a foot compression sleeve support the arch?

The Compression Ankle Sleeve wraps around the midfoot, so you feel compression around the arch, but it has no structure underneath to hold the arch up. For that, an arch support insole in your shoe does the work, and the slim sleeve leaves room for one.

Foot compression sleeve or compression socks?

A sleeve leaves your toes open and lets you wear your own socks, and the ankle sleeve adds gel padding around the joint. Compression socks cover the whole foot and the calf in one piece. Ours use 15-20 mmHg graduated compression with built-in arch support.

Can I wear a compression sleeve inside my shoes?

Yes. The Compression Ankle Sleeve is slim enough for most shoes, including skate shoes and work boots. The Compression Shin Sleeve stops above the foot, so your shoes fit the way they always do.
