Memory Foam Insoles With Structure Underneath
Memory foam feels great the moment you step on it. It molds around your foot and softens every step. On its own, though, it has nothing to push back with, so a plain memory foam insole can feel plush on day one and pack down over time, leaving the arch with no support.
The Shock Absorbing Foot Insoles are our memory foam pair, and they're built on structure: a cushioned PU memory foam footbed over a molded TPU arch support and heel cup. The soft layer takes the impact while the firm layer keeps your foot in position. The footbed measures roughly 6mm under the heel and 4mm under the forefoot, so it adds cushion without eating up the room in your shoe, and the antimicrobial top layer fights bacteria and odor.
The All Day Foot Insoles use EVA foam over a PU base instead of memory foam, with a firmer contoured arch, and suit people who stand more than they land. Weighing up the two? See insoles for standing all day, or every pair and multi-pack on orthotic insoles.
FAQs
Are memory foam insoles good for your feet?
Memory foam is comfortable cushioning, but cushioning alone doesn't support the arch. That's why ours put a molded TPU arch support and heel cup under the memory foam. If you need support more than softness, look at the All Day Foot Insoles, which use EVA foam and a firmer arch instead.
How long do memory foam insoles last?
Our Shock Absorbing pair typically lasts 6 to 12 months of daily wear, and the antimicrobial top layer helps by cutting down on moisture damage. It's time for a new pair when the foam no longer springs back after you step off it, or the arch feels lower than it used to.
Will memory foam insoles make my shoes too tight?
Thick memory foam can. Ours run roughly 6mm thick under the heel and 4mm under the forefoot, which leaves room in most sneakers, skate shoes and work boots without going up a size. Take the factory liner out first so you're swapping one layer for another, not stacking them.
